When times are tough, I have always believed that getting off your duff and fixing the problem is always the best thing to do.
We are suddenly put in the position to change our circumstances in a very short time and if we do nothing we will be homeless. The reasons are many, a light fingered relative, successive unexpected moves with our business, one building was condemned, one landlord shut the building down to make it more profitable down the road, now medical issues and a business partner retiring, has put us in a position to rethink and then renew by backing away finding a new storefront and starting over again. We will move the store but the costs will be enormous as usual.
We have also lived in our business years, and that has to come to an end. We have a small unimproved piece of property and short of being homeless, this is where we are going to go.
With such a small budget we are openly gleaning for enough to build the shell of the first part of the project by hunting down construction leftovers that are either throwing away or have been storing until just this time to help us do this.
We are on a mission to do something special and to spend none of the money we don't have.
Well, rather this than feel sorry for all the surprises in our lives. I would much rather make it a motivator to do great things.
So if you would like to help us scavenge then send us a message and we will pick anything useful up.
Get your leftover 2" by 4"s, 1" by 6" , 4" by 4"s and 4 by 8 foot leftover wood to us! Since we are about to become un-homed, we are going to make one.
