Well, we just could not do it today, yes, you may call us wimps but after an hour we were used up. We did drink our full days measure of water but there was no need for a potty stop, we sweat it all out.
On the way back into town we did some sweaty garage sale-ing and and I found enough roofing for an eight food shed, I paid the ridiculous amount of $3.00 dollars for the lot and as we walked past their garage I spied a lazy Susan slightly beat up, we will have to change out the backing and paint it white but it will be fantabulous!
Even the inexpensive ones run around $250.00, my cost $2.00, and I believe I will need about $2.00 in paint. All in all a good haul.
Total cost so far for the Huge Tiny House in materials $66 new: $8.00 in used, plus around $800.00 in gleaned wood by us, as well as gifted a huge truck load of work, and an astonishing truck load of insulation, probably worth my whole heart in appreciation. Then there was the advice to rethink the whole project. Priceless
Do you know what you do with the old nails you take out of used wood? You reuse them all. Beat the bent once back into shape.
We have one more load to take out to the property today so see you later!
When it comes to wood, don't be knotty. Ha!
